Recognizing,
That Wright State University Student Government is dedicated to serving the best interests of the
student body,
Bearing in mind,
There are three course management systems currently in place and they are WebCT, Pilot, and
Course Studio, in addition to individual faculty websites that serve a similar purpose,
Fully Aware,
Pilot will be taking the place of WebCT by the end of this academic year,
Deeply concerned,
That having more than one course management system in place is highly inconvenient for the
students of Wright State University, leading to confusion about where to find course materials
and syllabi.
Recalling,
It is in the best interest of the student body to be obligated to only one course management
system.
The Wright State University Student Government,
1. Recommends The faculty of Wright State University come to a consensus on which
course management system to utilize in the delivery of course materials
2. Recommends The Center for Teaching and Learning, and CaTS block any other
course management system from use by faculty and students.
