WHEREAS , The current tunnel system is mostly plain and lacking of Wright State pride; and
WHEREAS, Students, faculty, staff and visitors who come to Wright State should be encompassed by green and gold, the official colors of Wright State; and
WHEREAS, Visitors and soon-to-be Wright State students should be welcomed by
Wright State pride, our colors and a more appealing tunnel system, which is a hallmark for Wright State; and
WHEREAS , The absence of decorated tunnels creates a lack of pride for Wright State and makes it less appealing to visitors and future students; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Student Government of Wright State University here assembled, that:
(1) We encourage the University to incorporate more green and gold in their future designs; and
(2) Make the tunnel system more appealing by decorating (e.g. painting, vinyl, etc) it with Wright State oriented subjects (e.g. paw prints, scenes of Wright State, Rowdy the Raider, etc), symbols and green and gold.
