13-26 A Resolution to Add to Article IX Section 2

WHEREAS, The Wright State University Student Government’s constitution doesn’t

state what would happen if the Senate doesn’t approve the budget; and

WHEREAS, The Student Government of Wright State University wouldn’t receive
4
funding if the Senate doesn’t pass a budget for the Student Organization
5
Budget Committee; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, By the Student Government of Wright State University here
8
assembled, that:

(1) Article IX Section 2 would be revised to add “If the Senate doesn’t
10
approve of the budget that the President presents for the next academic
11
year, the President may resubmit the previous year’s budget without
12
the Senate’s approval. The only change to the budget can be members
13
pay due to tuition increases.
