Demonstrate through class discussion, conversation and writing, the integration of the elements of vocabulary and grammatical structures of Spanish necessary to communicate orally and in writing on topics related to daily life, society, and Hispanic and American cultures. c. Communicate orally on topics related to daily life, society, and Hispanic and American cultures with pronunciation comprehensible to a native speaker. d. Demonstrate through class discussion, conversation and writing, an understanding of the essentials of geography, history, culture, and society of Spain and Latin American countries. e. Methods of Instruction Provide comprehensible input in the form of spoken Spanish through the instructor, video, and text exercises and short readings. Encourage and motivate student response, both through Total Physical Response, speaking and writing. Carefully monitored group and pair work for conversation and text exercises.
