The entry information was changed to make reference to the new National Certificate in Film and Television, which has replaced the National Certificate in Film and Television (Foundation Skills) [Ref: 0295]. 3 In preparing a script, people may present their own, or adapt an existing, storyline. 4 The video should be live action and at least three minutes in duration. 5 The maker should write, produce, and direct the video with other roles filled by other personnel. Evidence requirements 1.1 Storyline is developed to meet video concept. 1.2 Elements of script are developed to meet storyline requirements. Range 1.3 Script is completed in terms of television requirements. Range 1.4 either shot list or storyboard. Completed script is ready for filming within specified constraints. Range 1.5 settings, characters, props, costumes, plot development, any dialogue. time, budget, availability of equipment, availability of personnel. Script is divided into sections to meet filming requirements. Outcome 2 Make advance preparations. Evidence requirements 2.1 Schedule is established in terms of all known requirements. Range 2.2 preferred time, back-up time. Personnel required is determined to meet job requirements. Range technical and operational personnel, actors. 2.3 Roles are allocated to personnel to meet job requirements. 2.4 Permission for filming is obtained, where necessary, to meet job requirements. 2.5 Schedule for filming is prepared to meet requirements of individual scenes. Evidence requirements 3.1 Equipment and personnel are confirmed before shooting commences. 3.2 Scenes are shot in a manner which employs a variety of camera and composition techniques. 3.3 Responsibility is taken and decisions made in terms of situations arising during shooting. 3.4 Team work is encouraged in terms of a co-operative working relationship during shooting. 3.5 Operations are completed without damage to equipment and injury to personnel. 3.6 Operations are completed in terms of accepted work-site practices. Range 3.7 clean up sites, return gear used, thank personnel. Tape is edited to job requirements. Outcome 4 Assess the video. Evidence requirements 4.1 Completed video is evaluated in terms of its technical quality. Range 4.2 camera work, lighting, editing, sound, design features.
