Statutory requirements may include but is not limited to the relevant sections of the New Zealand Building Code and relevant standards such as the New Zealand Standard (NZS) 3000:1997, Electrical Installations – Buildings, Structures and Premises, and NZS 4332:1997, Non-Domestic Passenger and Goods Lifts. 2 All work practices must meet recognised codes of practice and documented worksite safety procedures (where these exceed code) for personal, product and worksite safety, and must meet the obligations required under current legislation. Legislation includes but is not limited to the Health and Safety in Employment Act (1992), and its subsequent amendments. 3 Those intending to work towards being credited with this unit standard should note that work involved with this unit standard can take place at heights well above ground level, and therefore requires a relevant level of physical fitness and ability to work at heights. Range: 3.3 irregularities may include but are not limited to - wear and damage affecting safety or performance. Scheduled safety tests and maintenance inspections are carried out and recorded in accordance with worksite procedure. element 4 Dismantle false cars and carry out completion work for false lift cars. performance criteria 4.1 False cars are dismantled without damage according to worksite procedure. 4.2 Work is completed and relevant parties notified, in accordance with agreed plan and according to worksite procedure. 4.3 Worksite is cleared and equipment and tools returned according to worksite procedure.
