Range: maps, permanent records. element 2 Check climbing equipment and climb the seed tree(s). performance criteria 2.1 Climbing equipment is checked and used in accordance with manufacturers instructions and the Approved Code of Practice for Safety and Health in Tree Work. 2.2 Climbing methods conform to the Approved Code of Practice for Safety and Health in Tree Work. element 3 Collect tree seed. performance criteria 3.1 The presence of seed in fruit is established before collection. 3.2 Monitoring of fruit maturity characteristics is used as an early indication of optimum fruit ripeness and minimum levels of seed maturity.
