This unit standard is for people in the cleaning industry.
People credited with this standard are able to: determine
mechanical equipment requirements to support cleaning
processes; and select mechanical cleaning equipment, for
purchase or lease, to support cleaning processes.

AS/NZS 3760:2010 In-service safety inspection and testing of electrical equipment;
AS/NZS 60335.1:2002 Household and similar electrical appliances – Safety – Part 1 –
General requirements;
AS/NZS 60335.2.2:2002 Household and similar electrical appliances – Safety – Particular
requirements for vacuum cleaners and water suction cleaning appliances;
AS/NZS 60335.2.72:2003 Household and similar electrical appliances – Safety – Particular
requirements for automatic machines for floor treatment for commercial and industrial use;
AS/NZS 60335.2.79:2002 Household and similar electrical appliances – Safety – Particular
requirements for high pressure cleaners and steam cleaners for industrial and commercial
use.

NZQA before they can register credits from assessment against unit standards.
Providers and Industry Training Organisations, which have been granted consent and
which are assessing against unit standards must engage with the moderation system that
applies to those standards.
