(non destructive testing) methods and prepare written NDT
inspection reports; and direct testing personnel associated with
the evaluation of the inspection results.

Explanatory notes
All tasks are to be carried out in accordance with enterprise procedures, the enterprise being
the organisation carrying out the work. Enterprise procedures referred to in this unit standard
are the applicable procedures found in the following: enterprise exposition; manufacturer
publications; Government and local body legislation; airworthiness authority requirements.

Evaluate and interpret test indications found using eddy current NDT methods and prepare
written NDT inspection reports.
Evidence requirements
1.1
Indications found during the inspection are evaluated and interpreted in
accordance with enterprise procedures.

Indistinct indications are confirmed using other NDT methods in accordance with
enterprise procedures.

Inspection report is completed in accordance with enterprise procedures.
