Dispatch refers to transportation by courier, rail, truck, airfreight. Organisational procedures refer to instructions to staff on policy and procedures which are formally documented, or generally accepted within the workplace. Retail or distribution environment refers to workplaces where the primary focus is on customers purchasing goods and/or services. Range 1.2 may include but is not limited to – aisle number, bin number. Assembled goods are checked for discrepancies with the dispatch order, and any required corrective action is taken within an agreed timeframe. Range corrective action may include but is not limited to – record discrepancy, rectify discrepancy, notify supervisor. 1.3 Wrapping and packing of assembled goods complies with organisational procedures. 1.4 Identification of assembled goods is complete, accurate, and visible. Range identification may include but is not limited to – quantity and type of goods, destination, delivery date and/or time, special handling instructions, labels. 1.5 Security of assembled goods is maintained in accordance with organisational procedures. 1.6 Safe work practices are used to assemble and move goods in accordance with organisational procedures.
