People credited with this unit standard are able to transport casting support equipment, and perform specific maintenance lifts. Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Transport casting support equipment. Evidence requirements 1.1 Movement of casting support equipment is performed in a manner that establishes and maintains continuity of casting operations. Range 1.2 casting support equipment may include but is not limited to – empty ladles, tundishes, slag and scull boxes, ladle roofs, consumables, lance racks, moulds, segments; evidence of four is required. The spatial position of support equipment during transit ensures the safety of personnel and plant. Outcome 2 Perform specific maintenance lifts.
