Trading Act 1986, Sale of Goods Act 1908, other published statutes, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines and standards relevant to the particular work site, and their subsequent amendments and replacements.

4 Definitions

Retail or distribution environment refers to workplaces where the primary focus is on customers purchasing goods and/or services.

Agreed indicates a course of action that is agreed between two or more people (including the candidate) and which follows organisational procedures.

Organisational procedures refer to instructions to staff on policy and procedures which are formally documented, or generally accepted within the workplace.

5 Evidence is required for selecting and presenting three types of goods for promotion.

2.4 Arrangements, responsibilities, and timeframes for presentation are agreed with authorised personnel.

Presentation of selected goods maximises net profit on sale of goods.

Effectiveness of promotional strategies used are evaluated.
