Elements and performance criteria Element 1 Identify site quality systems and quality management processes in a petrochemical workplace. Performance criteria 1.1 Existing systems, procedures, and facilities are identified. 1.2 Details of quality systems pertaining to site specific quality audits are identified. Range quality manuals, procedures, work instructions. 1.3 Company vision statements, goals, and policies are used to identify site quality systems and quality management processes in accordance with site requirements. 1.4 Quality audit frequency is identified in accordance with site requirements. Range regular, random. Element 2 Assist with quality audits in a petrochemical workplace. Performance criteria 2.1 The company quality audits schedule is applied to all assigned production variables in accordance with site requirements. Range 2.2 production, maintenance, training, safety, environment, equipment. Quality audits are applied, under supervision, and meet company quality management requirements for accuracy. Performance criteria 3.1 Quality audit data is recorded in accordance with site requirements. 3.2 Audit results are communicated in accordance with site requirements. Range written, oral reports. 3.3 Audit results are entered into information management systems under supervision in accordance with site requirements. 3.4 Quality systems and documentation are audited, reviewed, and updated under supervision in accordance with site requirements. 3.5 Audit results are used to assess the effectiveness of quality systems and recommendations are made under supervision in accordance with site requirements. Please note Providers must be accredited by NZQA, or an inter-institutional body with delegated authority for quality assurance, before they can report credits from assessment against unit standards or deliver courses of study leading to that assessment. Industry Training Organisations must be accredited by NZQA before they can register credits from assessment against unit standards. Accredited providers and Industry Training Organisations assessing against unit standards must engage with the moderation system that applies to those standards.
