Definitions
Enterprise means an organisation where training and/or assessment is taking place,
and/or where the trainee is employed.
Enterprise procedures refer to the documented procedures used by the organisation
carrying out the work and applicable to the tasks being carried out. They may include but
are not limited to – standard operating procedures, site safety procedures, equipment
operating procedures, codes of practice, quality assurance procedures, housekeeping
standards, charging of time and materials, management of drawings and documentation,
procedures to comply with legislative and local body requirements.

Forehearth is heated from furnace rebuild in accordance with enterprise
procedures.

Gas and air mixture is determined, and forehearth is set for firing in accordance
with job requirements and enterprise procedures.
1.3
Glass depth in the forehearth is adjusted to optimise production according to job
requirements and enterprise procedures.
1.4
Thermocouples and tri-couples are set up to transmit forehearth temperature
data to glass conditioning system in accordance with enterprise procedures.

Forehearth cooling mechanisms are set up to maintain forehearth temperature
in accordance with enterprise procedures.

Burner cleaning procedure is completed in accordance with enterprise

Forehearth operation is monitored and adjusted against set point data loaded
into the glass conditioning system from previous job in accordance with
enterprise procedures.
