Explanatory notes

Definitions

Enterprise means an organisation where assessment is taking place, and/or where the trainee is employed.

Enterprise procedures refer to the documented procedures used by the organisation carrying out the work and applicable to the tasks being carried out. They may include but are not limited to

– standard operating procedures, site safety procedures, equipment operating procedures, codes of practice, quality assurance procedures, housekeeping standards, charging of time and materials, management of drawings and documentation, procedures to comply with legislative and local body requirements.

Evidence requirements

1.1 The sequence of the glass forming process is described in accordance with enterprise procedures.

– glass conditioning, gob forming, gob loading into blank side, container forming, ware handling, hot end treatment, Lehr loading.

1.6 The purposes of the product information systems are described, and the sources and relevance of information displayed, explained in accordance with enterprise procedures.
