Definitions
Enterprise means an organisation where training and/or assessment is taking place,
and/or where the trainee is employed.
Enterprise procedures refer to the documented procedures used by the organisation
carrying out the work and applicable to the tasks being carried out. They may include but
are not limited to – standard operating procedures, site safety procedures, equipment
operating procedures, codes of practice, quality assurance procedures, housekeeping
standards, charging of time and materials, management of drawings and documentation,
procedures to comply with legislative and local body requirements.

1.1
The potential hazards in the glass container inspection area are identified, and
precautions are taken in accordance with enterprise procedures.

Emergency stopping of equipment in the glass inspection and packaging area is
demonstrated in accordance with enterprise procedures.

inspection, automatic pressure tester, automatic scanner,
conveyors, ink-jet applicator.
Evidence may be simulated if required.
Equipment operation in the glass container inspection area is monitored and
identified issues are reported in accordance with enterprise procedures.

automatic scanner, conveyors, ink-jet applicator.

Equipment stoppages and malfunctions are responded to or reported in
accordance with enterprise procedures.

Glass container product faults are identified and reported in accordance with
enterprise procedures.

Glass container testing is performed and result reported in accordance with
enterprise procedures.

glass container testing – manual pressure testing, tin-coating
measurement.

Process alarms are identified, and actions are taken in response to alarms and
in accordance with enterprise procedures.

Product information computer data is uploaded to the system, monitored,
interpreted, and responded to in accordance with enterprise procedures.

Work area and hand tools are cleared and cleaned to ensure safe operating
conditions in accordance with enterprise procedure.

Outcome 2
Perform fracture analysis of glass containers.
Evidence requirements
2.1
Container samples for fracture analysis testing are identified and prepared in
accordance with enterprise procedures.
2.2
Fracture analysis is carried out on container samples in accordance with
enterprise procedures.
