Evidence requirements 1.1 The potential hazards in the glass container inspection area are identified, and precautions are taken in accordance with enterprise procedures. Range 1.3 28571 version 2 Page 2 of 3 equipment – lehr, cold end treatment, impact simulator, automated inspection, automatic pressure tester, automatic scanner, conveyors, ink-jet applicator. Evidence may be simulated if required. Equipment operation in the glass container inspection area is monitored and identified issues are reported in accordance with enterprise procedures. Range equipment – cold end treatment, impact simulator, automated inspection, automatic and manual pressure tester, freak detector, automatic scanner, conveyors, ink-jet applicator. 1.4 Equipment stoppages and malfunctions are responded to or reported in accordance with enterprise procedures. 1.5 Glass container product faults are identified and reported in accordance with enterprise procedures. Range 1.6 product faults – critical, certain failure, major, minor. Glass container testing is performed and result reported in accordance with enterprise procedures. Range glass container testing – manual pressure testing, tin-coating measurement. 1.7 Process alarms are identified, and actions are taken in response to alarms and in accordance with enterprise procedures. 1.8 Product information computer data is uploaded to the system, monitored, interpreted, and responded to in accordance with enterprise procedures. 1.9 Work area and hand tools are cleared and cleaned to ensure safe operating conditions in accordance with enterprise procedure. Range work area may include – floors, stairs, platforms, inspection benches, machine surfaces. Outcome 2 Perform fracture analysis of glass containers. Evidence requirements 2.1 Container samples for fracture analysis testing are identified and prepared in accordance with enterprise procedures. 2.2 Fracture analysis is carried out on container samples in accordance with enterprise procedures.
