Range tests include – glass quality tests - cord analysis, density, transmission, blister count, stone count, seed count; batch tests - batch moisture, sand moisture, particle size. Evidence requirements 1.1 The equipment required to carry out batch and glass quality testing is identified and its purpose described in terms of testing being carried out, in accordance with enterprise procedures. 1.2 Batch and glass quality equipment and samples are prepared in accordance with enterprise procedures. Range equipment preparation includes calibration and testing. 1.3 Tests are performed in accordance with enterprise procedures. 1.4 Results are verified against job requirements, interpreted, recorded, and reported in accordance with enterprise procedures.
