Explanatory notes 1 Organisational requirements refers to instructions to staff on policy and procedures which are documented in memo or manual format and are available in the workplace. These requirements include but are not limited to – company human resource policy and procedures manuals, company quality management requirements, employment contracts, application documentation, recruitment interviewing methods and techniques, selection methodology, maintenance and review mechanisms, objectives met within budgets, deadlines achieved within resource allocation, rapport building, interview management, documentation and legislative requirements. 2 Legislative requirements in this unit standard include but are not limited to compliance with the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992, Employment Relations Act 2000, Privacy Act 1993, Human Rights Act 1993, Equal Pay Act 1972, and subsequent amendments. 3 Recruitment, selection, and appointment refers to both internal and external recruitment and selection. 4 Plans refer to the programmed steps which an organisation intends to take to implement its strategies.
