Range viscera by-products may include but are not limited to – hearts, kidneys, livers, lungs, aorta, intestines, tripe, diaphragm. Evidence requirements 1.1 Equipment is operated in accordance with organisational requirements and manufacturer’s specifications. 1.2 Viscera by-products are removed in accordance with organisational requirements. 1.3 By-product removal is completed without damage to or contamination of recoverable products in accordance with organisational requirements. 1.4 Viscera by-products are placed in receptacles in accordance with organisational requirements. 1.5 Any viscera by-products stamped by statutory authorities as contaminated are treated in accordance with statutory and organisational requirements.
