Tip Sheet for Using Standard/Shared Queries
in Brio 6
Running Standard Queries from the Repository in Brio 6
When you open Brio 6 you will see the following screen:
1. SELECT Repository Document from the drop-down menu and SELECT your
desired Database Connection (DSSFIN.OCE or ODSFIN.OCE). If you don't see
your OCE in the Connection file, then SELECT Browse.

2. SELECT the desired OCE (ODSFIN.OCE or DSSFIN.OCE) and SELECT Open.
3. ENTER your Username and Password.
4. SELECT Queries Financial, Standard Queries with Reports and then your
desired Query and SELECT Open.

5. The query will begin running immediately. Begin entering your limits as you did in
Brio 5.
6. To navigate through the various sections, CLICK on the desired section found on the
left-hand side.

7. To Print a report, SELECT the File Menu and Print.
8. To Open another query from the Repository SELECT Open from Repository and
SELECT Select.
