People credited with this unit standard are able to: demonstrate knowledge of the different occupations associated with the NZ motor body industry; and demonstrate knowledge of the automotive industry structure.

2.1 The automotive manufacturing, assembly, wholesale and retail business associations and organisations and the general purpose of each is identified and explained.

2.2 The general purpose of the employee association is identified.
