Cameron interscholastic contest will feature
hundreds of students from area high schools
Cameron University’s 27th annual Interscholastics Contest will be held from 8-11 a.m. Friday, April 1, on

Cameron’s School of Business, School of Education and Behavioral Sciences, School of Liberal Arts, and

This year, geography has been added as a new contest in the School of Liberal Arts. Foreign language
tests will feature several levels in Spanish, French and German, from beginning to advanced levels and
native speakers. There will be a large variety of musical competitions, from music theory to instrumental
solos. This will also be the first year that ninth-graders are allowed to participate in certain events.
“We are always excited about hosting the interscholastic contest,” said Tink Glenn, director of educational
programs at Cameron. “It’s a fast and fun morning, but it gives these students an opportunity to shine.”
