Each of the course forms for the above courses was amended to show “45” contact hours under
“Classes” and where necessary the designation of 45 CEU contact hours was removed.
Courses that showed the restriction “Senior Standing or 90 hours” were amended to read
“Senior Standing”. Two courses were amended to add the SS designation. These are CRM
1000 and CRM 2320. A pre-req was removed from SOC 2551 and CRM 4901 was amended to
show 0 credits, co-requisite CRM 4900 and that CRM 4901 was to be taken with CRM 4901.
Senior Standing was added to CRM 4901.
All courses, as amended, were approved with one opposed vote.

Junior Standing was noted for EMG 3325. The pre-req for EAC 3332 was corrected to be EAC 3212. All
courses as amended were approved with one abstention.

College of Psychology and Liberal Arts:
(a)
new courses:
(1) PSY 3531 Child Psychology
(2) PSY 4561 Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis
PSY 3531 was approved as presented.
PSY 4561 was withdrawn and PSY 4465 was submitted in its stead. The course already exists
and has the same name, “Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis”. PSY 4465 is to be
amended to increase requirements to 4 hrs per week and to 4 credits. The content changes are
as outlined in the memo with PSY 4561 above.
As amended, PSY 4465 changes were approved unanimously.
In addition, COPLA will work with Science Ed to bring forth a new course to cover Adolescent
Psychology, which is what was dropped with the new course PSY 3531.

Friday, April 20, 2007, at 8 a.m. in the 2nd floor conference room, Physical Sciences Building.

Other Issues:
UC will look into the administrative process necessary for online signatures for waivers
of pre-reqs and co-reqs, etc. and provide UGCC with this information for future discussion.
Reminder: The next regularly scheduled meeting is Friday, April 27, 2007, at 8:00 a.m. Agenda items to be
submitted to the consent agenda for the April 27, 2007 meeting are due by April 20, 2007.
