I put a lot of thought into this paper, and I have decided that most of my goals are
pretty basic objectives to have for any class. Although my goals are simple, I believe that
they are important and that everyone should have them.
My goals include being
punctual, devoting my time properly, and being diligent in my studies.
My first goal is to attend class every day and also to be on time. I think this is an
important goal because it is necessary to be in class to get the best understanding of
what’s going on. Attendance is also essential to get the best perceptive on the subjects
that the class is covering.
My second goal, which is to dedicate my time to my studies, will be the most
difficult one for me. Staying home and studying for tests and quizzes, and doing my
homework will be a challenge. The reason this will be difficult is because I enjoy going
out and having fun. I really don’t enjoy sitting in one spot to read or write.
My third goal is to put forth a valiant effort, one worth being proud of. I would
like to be able to look back and be proud of myself and of what I have accomplished. I
also want to be able to say that I did my best and have no regrets about my work.
In conclusion, my three goals, to have good attendance, to use my time wisely,
and to apply myself diligently will not be easy. With the support of my new friends, I
believe that I can succeed. Although the responsibility is a gigantic load on us all, I
expect myself and the rest of my friends to pull through it all right. We won’t make it
without hitting one of those big bumps; all we can hope for is that our friends can catch
us before we get too far behind. With friends it will be very easy to set goals like these.
The hard part is following through with what I have said, and all I know is that I will try
my best and hope for a positive outcome.
