Write a 600-word gender analysis research paper on one or more of the
readings in the textbook. At least 3 credible sources must be cited both
inside the paper and in a works cited page. All papers must have be
typed and in MLA style, double spaced, 12-point Times New Roman
Font.

Select a unifying idea such as love poems, war poems, nature poems, etc. and find 3 such
poems in the textbook. Create a 3-6 page booklet that analyzes the poems. Each analysis
should discuss how the imagery, diction, allusion, and figurative language express the theme of
the poem. The introduction should focus on the authors and the type of poetry; the body
should analyze the poems; the conclusion should indicate the unifying qualities of the 3 poems.
If possible, projects should be typed and in MLA style. Research is expected. Relevant graphics
are encouraged.
