DO NOW: Write one sentence about what the weather is like in summer and one sentence about what you can do in summer. Do the same for winter for the total of four sentences. DIRECT TEACH: Students and teacher translate the questions that comprise the paragraph. INDEPENDENT PRACTICE: Students write a paragraph about last summer.
