Artworks that convey personal meaning are created using a variety of production processes, including drawing, painting, mixed media, printmaking, and sculpture. Fulfills fine art graduation requirement.
Painting
A variety of painting media is explored including tempera, acrylic on canvas, and watercolor.
Studio Art 1
This art class is a continuation of skill development in all 2-d media and the development of an art portfolio. Journal work included.
Studio Art 2
Students continue to build a portfolio of artwork and journal work.
Personal style emerges through the mastery of skills and techniques in 2-d art.
Studio Art 3
Students focus on a medium and art form of their choice, using both assigned and self-selected subject matter.
Advanced Studio Art
This course is used to provide continued, rigorous and advanced study in a specific art form. By permission of art instructor only.
