I.
15 MINUTES 1:30p-1:45p

Identify one person who will take notes and one person who will report back to the larger group

Introductions: On flip chart, list each team members’ name and affiliation

Circle the name of the group’s spokesperson and underline the name of the person taking notes

15 MINUTES 1:45p-2:00p

Question #1: How is trauma linked to the behaviors you observe and respond to?

Record responses on flip chart (don’t worry about capturing everything – general themes are fine)
III.
15 MINUTES 2:00p-2:15p

Question #2: What are your ideas for making your service area more trauma-informed?

Create two columns on flip chart: Short Term (within the year) & Long Term (2 to 5 years)

Brainstorm ideas and list in appropriate column
IV.
30 MINUTES 2:15p-2:45p

Choose ONE idea from the short term goal column

Using the attached Action Plan template, create an action plan to accomplish your team’s goal

Deliver your completed Action Plan to room leader

Get a snack in the lobby!

