meeting on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the HCC Administration Building, 3100 Main,
2nd Floor Seminar Room A, Houston, Texas.

CALL TO ORDER
Mrs. Sane called the meeting to order at 4:58 p.m. and declared the Board convened to
consider matters pertaining to Houston Community College as listed on the duly posted
Meeting Notice.
(Mr. Austin arrived at 4:59 p.m.)

ADOPT TAX RATE FOR 2009
Motion – Mr. Schechter moved to adopt the tax rate of $0.092220. Mrs. Guzman
seconded. The motion passed with a vote of 6-0.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
