The Board of Trustees of the Houston Community College System held a Meeting of the
Facilities Committee on September 18, 2002, at the System Administration Building,
Chancellors Conference Room, 12th Floor, 3100 Main, Houston, Texas.

CALL TO ORDER
Ms. Navarro Flores called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m. and declared the meeting
convened to consider matters pertaining to the Houston Community College System as
listed on the duly posted meeting notice.
Status Report on Highway 288 Project
Dr. Jack Daniels reported on plans to hold a rededication event at the Willie Lee Gay Hall
Campus, Highway 288 @ Airport, on November 1, 2002. He has met with
representatives of the Quest Agency to begin marketing efforts for the new campus
scheduled to open in Fall 2003. Dr. Daniels also presented a progress report on
construction at the site.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned at
7:00 p.m.
