Maria Rey’s doctoral research is focused on the role of aligned performance measurement systems in driving the success of inter‐firm relationships. This research will look impact of performance measurement alignment in supply chain relationships. Background
Maria holds a MSc. in International Logistics Operations from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta (USA) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Rosario University in Bogota (Colombia). Maria works as an educator and consultant on global supply chain management and logistics strategies for emerging economies. Maria Rey is founder and Executive Director of the Atlanta‐based Latin America Logistics Center (LALC), part of the Center for Emerging Logistics and Supply Chains, which conducts over 100 logistics courses in 16 countries in the Americas and other emerging economies such as Turkey, Russia and Poland. She is also adjunct faculty at the Georgia Institute of Technology in the Executive Masters in International Logistics (EMIL) and Georgetown University, McDonough School of Business, where she teaches International Operations, Latin American logistics and design of logistics performance management systems.
