Miss Jackson’s Class Weekly News Central Avenue School What We Learned This Week… Math – This week we learned how to use the formula to calculate the volume of rectangular prisms and liquids. We also reinforced our problem solving skills by solving realworld problems involving the volume of solids. Reading – We continued our unit on text sets by reading a variety of articles and infographics on immigration. We identified the main idea and supporting details of articles and defined domain-specific vocabulary. Writing – We worked with our immigration text set to respond to essential questions.
