Miss Jackson’s Class Weekly News Central Avenue School What We Learned This Week… Math – This week we reviewed 3D figures like prisms, pyramids, cylinders, and cones. Then we practiced drawing solids. We also learned how to find the surface area of cubes, rectangular prisms, and triangular prisms. Reading – We continued our unit on text sets by reading articles and watching videos on drones. We compared and contrasted information across articles and discussed the pros and cons of using drones. Writing – We worked with our drones text set to respond to essential questions.
