Academic Updates
Math: Students will be working
on Multiplication Concepts.
They will be thinking about
multiplication as equal groups,
arrays, area models, skip
counting, and repeated
addition.
Writing: I am so proud of the
personal opinion essays 3B has
produced! They also used their
fantastic writing skills to write
an essay about what they are
thankful for this year. I hope
you enjoy reading their work at
Thanksgiving! Next, students
will be doing informational
writing! Tying in closely with
our next reading unit, students
will be doing research based
writing about a biography
subject!
Reading: Students will be
moving into non-fiction as we
begin our biography unit.
Students will choose a
biography subject to study
through books, websites, and
videos.
Social Studies: 3B students will
be learning about the Regions
of New Jersey!
