Wow! I cannot believe the first quarter is
already over! I am extremely proud of all the
progress that has been made so far and I cannot
wait to see what the future still holds. I really
enjoyed meeting with all of you to discuss your
child’s start to third grade, and I appreciate the
continued support at home. It’s a team effort and
I could not do it without all of you. We have a lot
of exciting new material to learn throughout this
quarter!
We will begin to learn multiplication within
the upcoming weeks. Please continue to review
the times tables up to 12 with your child. This will
help them tremendously with the unit!
Studying at home is extremely important
for units taught in class. One idea that I
mentioned to many of your during conferences
was having your child come up with their own
definitions and symbols to help remember the
topics covered in class. This will help your child
commit the information to their memory!
Please know that I’m always available to
answer any questions you may have and I’m
looking forward to a great quarter!
