Students will be able to

In spring 2014, we decided
to assess the following core
indicators: commands, the
present subjunctive, and por
vs. para.
The assessment indicated
that six (6) out of ten ( 10}
core indicators were above
70% accuracy. The average
was 74%. The four (4)
questions that targeted the
commands (questions # 1,
#8, #9, and #10} showed
accuracy between 45% and
97%. Two (2) of the four
(4} showed accuracy below
70%: 1.) the nosotros
command (question #I 0)
showed accuracy of 45%
and 2.) the tu command
(question # I) showed
accuracy of 59%. The 3
questions that targeted the
subjunctive (questions #2,

SPAN 211.

answers out of 10. Two (2)
sections of SPAN 211 were
offered in spring 2014.
