Dues$
The$PTO$is$a$volunteer$organization$that$relies$on$our$members$for$financial$support.$$You$can$show$
your$support$by$paying$the$$20$membership$dues.$$What$do$we$do$with$this$money?$$The$PTO$works$to$
support$programs$and$activities$that$enrich$students’$educational$experiences$across$all$grade$levels.$$
We$sponsor$cultural$arts$assemblies,$educational$enrichment$programs$by$grade,$as$well$as$art$
appreciation,$family$fun$night,$DEAR,$science$club,$the$holiday$workshop$and$more!$

There$are$two$ways$you$can$pay.$$Either$visit$the$TJS$PTO$webpage$at$
http://www.madisonpublicschools.org/TJSPTO$and$use$the$PayPal$link$or$send$in$your$payment$with$
your$child$in$an$envelope$marked$“TJS$PTO$Dues,$Attn:$Sue$Han,$CoJTreasurer”.$$Please$fill$out$the$stub$
at$the$bottom$of$this$sheet$and$include$it$in$the$envelope$with$your$payment.$$Checks$should$be$made$
out$to$TJS$PTO$with$“Dues”$in$the$memo$line.$$We$thank$you$in$advance$for$your$support!$

Keeping$Informed$
In$addition$to$educational$enrichment,$the$PTO$also$helps$foster$communication$between$school$and$
home.$$All$of$the$PTO$communications$are$online.$$By$visiting$the$PTO$webpage,$you$can$access$the$
TJS!Parent!Handbook,$which$contains$helpful$general$information$and$also$our$newsletter,$The!Jaguar!
Tails,$which$comes$out$every$two$weeks.$$Please$get$in$touch$with$one$of$our$CoOPresidents,$Jaime$
