Jim Comer I am from Virginia and went to Bowling Green State University. I taught for some years in Ohio, Michigan, California and Arkansas, and came down to Texas to be part of the BCMA faculty. I teach Latin, the language of the Romans, and the language of medicine and science. Knowing Latin is necessary for many fields. In my classes we are going to learn about the ancient Romans and their great civilization, and we’ll learn Latin from the Cambridge Latin Course, starting with the basics and working on grammar and vocabulary as we go through the year. We might have some fun too! My Latin class page is (link). In my other classes, we are going to study for our SATs and do reading and writing work. So write, right? Write! A link to my electives page is (here). In my spare time I work in my garden, hike, and make wooden boxes. My email at BCMA is (?), so contact me if you need anything.
