Metal Quality Options
14K Gold – An alloy of 59% pure gold combined with a base metal for strength. It
provides the highest quality and most durable finish.
10K Gold – An alloy of 42% pure gold combined with a base metal for strength.
Double Gold Filled – A layer of 10K gold is bonded to both the front and back
(where initials and year are engraved) of a reinforcing metal core.
Single Gold Filled – A layer of 10K gold is bonded to the front a reinforcing metal.
Gold Plate – Gold electrolytically deposited onto a reinforcing metal. With this
process, the thickness of gold is significantly less than gold-filled, and its durability is
limited.
