Virtue of the Week Our virtue for the week is humility. When you are humble you don’t act as if you are more important than other people. You are happy to serve others and think other people’s needs are important. You don’t expect yourself or others to be perfect. You do not criticize others or yourself. You admit mistakes and learn from them. Our virtue for next week is justice. Practicing justice is being fair in everything you do. It is seeing with your own eyes and not judging something or someone by what other people tell you. Being just is standing up for your rights and rights of other people. Rocking and Rolling with Science Houston TX 77006 Our phone number is 713-942-1472. Our Website is http://es.houstonisd.org/Wilson ES/ Office hours are 7:30am to 4:30 pm If you have questions, please call us! Tip of the Week It's a good idea to lay down some nutrition rules before your child heads into the lunchroom. Otherwise, he may end up trading his healthy lunch for a short stack of Oreos. Parents ought to know what their kids are eating at school -so ask them. If your child plans to buy lunch, know that you may either bring money to the office, the cafeteria, or pay online. This week in science we will be exploring rocks, minerals, and crystals. Students will get to explore an exhibit from the See-And-Touch Science Museum. Be sure to ask your children about their favorite discovery! Page 2 The Paw Print
