Several comments were made concerning the “Response to
Student Death” guideline.

New Business

For section two: Communication with the family, etc should be
limited to whoever the student places as their contact in case of
emergency. Other notifications may be limited by privacy laws.
For section three: Cooperation should also include requests of
government agencies in cases where deaths may involve law
enforcement.
