Ms Huo is the chief Erhu Soloist of China Opera and Dance Drama House and member
of the Chinese musicians association as well as a national first-grade actor.
Achievements and performing experiences:
1996：Rated as “One of the Top Ten” by China Ministry of Culture.
1999: Awarded the “Prize of Excellent Performance” in the competition organized by
China Ministry of Culture for the celebration of 50th anniversary of the foundation of the
People’s Republic of China.
2000: participated in CCTV Concert - “National Music with its Charm”.
2001: Invited by American Menuhin Music Foundation, Ms Huo joined a performance
tour in Spain and acted as soloist.
2001-2003: One of members of the Chinese famous women orchestra group and
recorded their own album.
2002: Together with the Chinese national male singer Dai, yuqiang, joined a
performance tour of Opera Turandot in America.
2002: Invited as a special guest at the solo concert of Chinese national female singer
Song, zuying which was held in Sydney Opera House and performed as Erhu soloist.
2004-2005: participated in the large-scale dance drama called “raise the red lantern”
directed by Zhang, yimou and played as a leading Erhu performer.
2005-2007: Cooperated with French pianist Richard Clayderman in the performance of
“Pride of National Music” in China.
2006: Together with other artists from China Opera and Dance Drama House, Ms Huo
participated in the performance in Canada and was well acclaimed by the audience.
2010: Recorded individual Erhu album in Japan and this album has released in Japan
and well acclaimed by Japanese audiences.
2011-2012: Together with the China literacy and art association, Ms Huo has visited
Sweden, Turkey as a Erhu soloist.
2012: Together with China Ministry of Culture, Ms Huo has visited Germany, Belgium
and Finland as Erhu soloist.
2013: Invited by Confucius Institute of Osaka， Ms Huo gave a impressive lecture
about China folk music and Chinese music culture.
