Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am writing to you today to advise you that I am retiring effective June 30, 2010. I have truly
enjoyed my years at St. Leonard Catholic School. My experiences with the wonderful staff and
community will live on with me forever. St. Leonard School is a wonderful place to work,
learn and play. The dedicated staff has always provided an outstanding learning environment
for the children and they are committed to improving student learning.
I wish to thank the staff, the parent council, the students, St. Leonard Parish team and all those
associated with St. Leonard School for making my time here so rewarding. Thank you to the
community for making our school the wonderful place that it is.
I would like you to join with me in welcoming the new principal of St. Leonard School, Mr. R.
Romanet. Mr. Romanet is currently principal at St. Timothy School. I know Mr. Romanet will
bring his many gifts to the St. Leonard School community and will provide excellent leadership
in the years to come.
