Enter Date August 31 – September 4, 2015 Literacy Work on writing has been a complete success! Both reading groups were able to build their stamina up to 20 minutes within one to two days. We have a class of authors! This week, we are beginning our third station, Read to Someone. Read to Someone is usually one of the students’ favorite stations because they get to read with a partner. It is also one of the stations that takes the longest to introduce because there are a lot of skills the students need to master so that their time with their reading partner is spent effectively. The students will learn how to help each other with words they get stuck on. They will also learn how to question each other at the end of each page to ensure that their partner is comprehending the story.
