THIS WEEK
NEXT WEEK
Though it was a short week we did a lot! We
learned the letter A and that it says /a/ like apple.
We learned the number 2 - around the track and
back on the rail road track - two two!!! We
learned the square has for sides that are all the
same. We learned the color blue.
Our all about me unit is going great! We have
learned about each others favorite color and
food! We have almost finished our ALL ABOUT ME
books to be displayed in the room. Thanks to all
who have sent in their family collages. If you have
not had the chance to do, please send them in
as soon as you can!
With the continuation of all about
me we will learn about our body
parts (head, shoulders, elbow,
wrist, hand, fingers, hips, heart,
lung, stomach, knee, ankle, feet,
toes) We will meet MAT Man who
will help us learn how to draw a
person and not an alien!
Our shape for next week is the
triangle, color green, number 3,
and letter B!
HOMEWORK
Grandparent's Day
Though there is no official homework
this week, please continue to reinforce
at home the skills that we are working
on at school. To do this practice letters
in your child's name, colors, shapes,
numbers, their birthday, and read a
story to them asking questions about
the characters, pictures, and events
that take place in the story. Older
siblings are always a great help with
these items!
Grandparents day is Monday. We eat at
11:35. Grandparents are invited down to the
room for their little gifts for the kiddos. Please
call the school tomorrow 646-2236 if you have
anyone coming but have not sent in the
form.
