Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort
The MCC Emergency Response Team is currently collecting Personal Care Items for the victims of
Hurricane Katrina who have been relocated to Michigan. Collection boxes are located in various
locations throughout the College. For your convenience, the Public Safety Department will pick up your
donations. To have items picked up call …..810-762-0222. Our office is open 24 hours a day, Monday
thru Sunday.
Items that will be accepted include: Toothpaste, Mouthwash, Dental Floss and Toothbrushes,
Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, Toilet Paper, Paper Towel, Kleenex, Sanitary Napkins/Tampons,
Deodorant, Diapers, etc.
NOTE:
The Department of Public Safety passed flyers out into the College Cultural Neighborhood
on September 20, 2005, and soon after we returned to the campus someone called to
have Public Safety pick up items.
