Fundraising Activities:
• Some Spirit Wear items available for sale at
next movie night. Agreed to consider sale
again for next school year.
• Mc Happy Day to be postponed for next
year.
• Fundraiser for 2012-2013 will be
chocolates. Will invite representative from
Lamontagne to next meeting
Community Events:
• Movie night May 17 for all grades. Movie
selection to be voted on by students.
Choices are Big Miracle, The Muppet
Movie, and the Karate Kid

Program:
• EQAO preparations May 23-June 6
o Preparations are well underway
o Pre-tests being given to determine gaps
• Basketball, Soccer, Football, Track and Field
o Intermediate basketball is finished and
the juniors boys are off to the Family
Tournament
o Soccer is beginning
o Football practices are starting as well
o Track and Field try-outs are underway
• Head’s Up competitions on April 19,
o Intermediate placed 4th, Juniors 1st
• Class allocations for the fall
o Procedures have been listed in the
newsletter
o Parents are encouraged to put concerns
in writing
Community report
Volunteer Tea May 30th: please make sure you can join
us. Your work is most appreciated.
COPE Program:
This is an 8 week Proactive Parenting Program that is
facilitated in conjunction with Peel Children’s Centre
13 parents have enrolled for this program and 6 parents
are going to the St. Joan of Arc program. Daycare is
provided and children will be engaged in social skill
building activities.
