Carlisle County High School Credit Recovery Program Criteria for Admission & Participation • Any student who has failed a course or who needs additional credits in order to graduate may participate in the credit recovery program. • Students may earn only 3 credits via correspondence courses or credit recovery courses. • Each course objective must be mastered at 80% accuracy before a student may move to the next objective. • Only currently enrolled students will be permitted to take credit recovery courses. • Only approved courses and curricular programs offered by the school will be accepted. • Students must obtain written approval from the principal or guidance counselor before beginning a credit recovery course. • Students and parents are required to sign a contract outlining the student and parent obligations before approval for the credit recovery course will be granted. • Consistent attendance per credit recovery course contract is required. • Students are required to follow the Carlisle County Public Schools Behavior Code at all times. Consistent failure to follow rules and procedures will result in dismissal from the Credit Recovery Program. • Continuation of the credit recovery program while in the alternative school shall be subject to approval by the board of education or the principal.
