Replacement of Two ADN Faculty
Jeanie Hardin requested approval to replace two full-time Associate Degree Nursing faculty
position vacancies created through the retirement of Dorothy Woodard and resignation of Brenda
Yeager. She explained that Dorothy’s position is funded by an external funder and was focused
on retention. The funder agreed to move that position to teaching.
Action/Motion: The Council unanimously approved the motion by Jeanie Hardin, second by
Giles Brown, to replace both ADN professor positions as presented.
Budget Discussions Continuing
Members continued to look at revenue and expenses in preparation of the 2014-15 preliminary
budget.
Action/Motion: No action necessary.
