Never has there been an art form that wields as much influence as film. It educates and entertains us as well as makes us both vulnerable and empowered. The humanity it holds in each frame ultimately makes the audience more human. My experience in WKU’s film studies program prepared me well for a Master’s degree in media studies at MIT and a career that affords me the opportunity to both publish writing about media and entertainment and to apply many of these lessons toward strategies that challenge and transform the work of marketers and corporate communicators.
